Jane Dixon is a commercial attorney with deep experience advising complex, highly regulated businesses. Before founding Doctrina Law PLLC, she served in senior in-house roles—including Senior Counsel and Assistant General Counsel for a Fortune 15 healthcare distribution company—and as corporate counsel in the sustainable feed and fuel and real estate development industries. In those positions, she advised business leaders on commercial contracts, regulatory and compliance matters, transactions, corporate governance, and the resolution of administrative and litigation issues.
Jane began her career as a litigator with a civil litigation firm, gaining trial and appellate experience in dispositive motion practice, depositions, discovery, and appellate briefing. She draws on that background to help businesses anticipate and manage disputes and frequently oversees litigation through outside trial counsel so that legal strategy, risk, and cost remain aligned with business objectives.
Jane earned her J.D. from SMU Dedman School of Law and her B.A. from the University of Texas at Dallas, and she is admitted to practice in Texas.
